Mr. Jacobus has over 25 years experience in commercial real estate during which he has successfully acted as broker for over 400 transactions in 30 states. As president of McBride Corporate Real Estate, Mr. Jacobus is responsible for all operations that involve the sale and leasing of McBride Enterprise properties including six major offices and technical centers. Additional work on behalf of major national accounts includes site selection surveys, appraisals, national account services for companies such as Volvo Cars of America, Inc. and Hudson United Bank. Mr. Jacobus is a recognized leader in the commercial real estate brokerage industry. He is a Director and past President of the Industrial and Office Real Estate Brokers Association of Metropolitan New York (IOREBA) and past New Jersey Chapter President, National Director and Regional Vice President of the Society of Industrial and Office Realtors (SIOR). Mr. Jacobus has won numerous awards from SIOR including "Largest Dollar Volume Office" in 1988 and again in 1995. In 1998, he achieved the largest number of transactions for SIOR brokers in the United States. Additionally, in 1995, Mr. Jacobus won the largest co-broker award in the State of New Jersey. He is also a member of Corporate Facility Advisors (CORFAC), serving as president in 1991. In 1992, Jacobus won the "Most Creative and Unusual Transaction Award". Mr. Jacobus has written and taught the National Representation course for SIOR throughout the United States and Canada. He received a B.S. degree from Fairleigh Dickinson University.
