James joined McBride Corporate Real Estate in March 1999. Prior to McBride, Mr. Martin as Managing Director of The Lansco Corporation, had 13 years experience in New York's commercial real estate market, specializing in office, retail leasing, and building sales.

Since joining McBride, recent commercial transactions brokered include:
• The lease of 7,000 sq. ft. of office space at 1279 route 300, Town of Newburgh to Tectonic Engineering & Surveying Consultants, P.C.

• The lease of 7,300 sq. ft. of office space at 1279 Route 300, Town of Newburgh to GSC/Kleinfelder.

• Sale of 127,000 sq. ft. office building at 2455 South Road, Town of Poughkeepsie to Thylan Associates, Inc.

• Sale of 25,785 sq. ft. office condominium at 555 Hudson Valley Avenue, New Windsor.

• The lease of 42,000 sq. ft. of office and industrial space at 45 Turner Drive, Town of Wallkill to Piller, Inc. in a 166,700 sq. ft. building under construction.

• The sale of the 37,871 sq. ft. industrial and office building at 1750 Route 211 East, Town of Wallkill to Rowley Development Corp.

• The sale of 31,800 sq. ft. industrial building at 360 Crystal Run Road, Town of Wallkill to SB Realty Enterprises, LLC.

• The sale of the 18,000 sq. ft. Durasol Industrial/Office Building at 197 Stone Castle Road in Montgomery, NY to Creative Design.

• The sale and partial leaseback of the 14,000 sq. ft. at State Farm Building at 643 Route 211, Town of Wallkill and the subsequent lease of 7,000 sq. ft. of office space to Orange County Community Bank.

• The sale of 47,630 sq. ft. Beesmer's Furniture Store at 205 Wickham Avenue, City of Middletown, NY to Golden Area Furniture.

• The sale of Wiedy's 60,000 sq. ft. furniture store at 394 Vassar Road, Poughkeepsie, NY to Raymour & Flanagan.

• The lease of 25,000 sq. ft. of office space to New York Medical Imaging in Wappingers Falls, NY.

• The lease of 25,000 sq. ft. of office/light assembly space to Planar Semiconductors Instruments, Inc. at 500 Enterprise Drive, Tech City, Kingston, NY.

Prior lease transactions successfully completed in New York City were those in which he represented American Standard Inc., Cluett, Peabody & Co. Inc., Haggar Clothing Company, Hachette Filipacchi Magazines, Dreyfus Charitable Foundation and AT&T Wireless Services.

James prior work experience was in the cosmetic/fragrance industry having been National Sales manager at Parfums Givenchy in which he was responsible for supervising the U.S. sales force. James majored in Business Administration with a specialization in marketing, Dean’s List - New York University at Brockport. He and his wife Kathleen have two children, Ashley (12) and Jimmy (15).
